Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi ‘s powerful Easter Sunday sermon

Revelation 22:11 says: “Let the one who does wrong continue to do

wrong… and let the righteous continue to do right… for behold, I come quickly.”

What if we restore Zimbabwe back to its prophetic name: Breadbasket of Africa?

Let our granaries overflow.

Let our rivers water not just our fields, but our future.

Let this be the Resurrection of a Nation.

Let peace be our portion, and unity be our anthem.

For as Genesis 11:6 reminds us: “If as one people

speaking the same language they have begun to do this,

then nothing will be impossible for them.”

Let our unity be more than a slogan.

Let it be our strength.

Let the world not just pray for us.

Let it learn from us.

Let the headlines not say “Zimbabwe pleads.”

Let them say: “Zimbabwe leads.”

As we engage with the world, let us re-engage with one another.

Development is not just roads and bridges,

It is the bridge between hearts, between generations,

and between the past and the future.

Zimbabwe must remain inclusive; not just politically, but spiritually.

  • Every voice matters.
  • Every region counts.
  • Every Zimbabwean belongs.

May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding rest upon:

  • every village,
  • every city,
  • every office,
  • every church,
  • every home.

May the God who rolled away the stone roll away

every stone of division, fear, and delay.

May Zimbabwe rise again.

And may we never forget: the King is coming back.

Christ is returning.

So let us build not only for today, but for eternity.

Let our peace be real, our unity be deep, and our faith be active.

God bless you.

God bless Zimbabwe.

God bless Africa.

And may Resurrection begin within all of us.

Famba Zion! Rugareeeee!
