Zimbabwe records 14 more coronavirus cases, total now 174

Zimbabwe yesterday recorded 14 more coronavirus cases, seven from returning residents- five from South Africa, one from Botswana and one from the United Kingdom.

The other seven were local transmissions and according to the Ministry of Health they were contacts of known confirmed cases.

The country now has 174 cases after testing 44 635 people.

Only 29 have recovered and four have died, leaving 141 active cases.

Globally, there are now 6.2 million cases and 371 000 deaths.
