At least four million people in Zimbabwe reported that they had gone without food on several occasions last year.
According to the latest survey by Afrobarometer, an African think tank that is funded mostly by Western donors, 24% of the Zimbabweans that were surveyed said they had gone without food many times in 2025.
The survey covered 38 countries.
