Kwekwe Central Member of Parliament Masango Matambanadzo who boasts of being a Grade Two brought the House to stitches last week when he addressed the Deputy Speaker Mabel Chinomona, who was in the chair, as “Madam Speaker Sir”.
When the Deputy Speaker said: “It is Madam Speaker in the Chair”, Matambanadzo said: “Madam Speaker Ma’am… Chirunguka ichi. Ndiri kudzidzira. Hapana chakashata.”
Matambanadzo caused a stir the previous week when he said some of the legislators who were causing a row in the House of Assembly were the same people that urinated in plates and pots at university.
