EU extends sanctions on Zimbabwe

The European Union today extended sanctions on Zimbabwe for a year but removed 35 people from a list of those affected by asset freezes and visa bans. The restrictions remain on 163 people and 31 businesses linked to rights abuses, undermining democracy or abuse of the rule of law.
