Coronavirus reached the Pandemic stage. On the 11th of March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that the spread of Covid-19 was now at a Pandemic stage. WHO Chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that, despite labelling the virus as a pandemic, their advice remains the same to countries trying to combat it.
