Zimbabwe has scrapped some promotions by mobile phone operators following a space of protests organised through the social media.
According to the online ICT magazine, Techzim some of the services ghat have been terminated are:
- The Econet 7X bonus airtime promotion and the daily bundle bonus WiFi data;
- NetOne MaBundles reappear data promotion, 48-Hour data and SMS combo; and
- Telecel Zimbabwe bonus points, mega bonus promotion, On–net voice bundles, and twitter bundles.
