One more person dies of coronavirus in Zimbabwe as death toll rises to 277

One person from Manicaland died of coronavirus yesterday raising the national death toll to 277 and that for Manicaland to 25.

Thirty-four people died of the virus in November.

There were 84 new cases yesterday raising the number of cases for November to 1 667 and the total so far to 10 034.

Only seven people recovered and 8 489 people have recovered to date.

The number of active cases rose to 1 268 with Bulawayo having 461, Matebeleland  North 196, Matebeleland South 148, Mashonaland  West 138 and Harare 129.

There are now 63.6million cases across the globe with 1.47 million deaths, 44 million recoveries and 18.1 million active cases.

The United States could clock 14million cases today while Poland, Peru and Iran are closing in on one million cases each.
