Anthrax epidemic was induced- Can Wikileaks shed more light?

In 1979-80, the final stretch of the liberation war which forced form Rhodesian Prime Minister Ian Smith to the negotiation table that resulted in the country’s independence, some 10 000 people mostly from the rural areas were affected by anthrax, a disease normally confined to animals. An American expert, Dr Meryl Nass said this could have been part of Smith’s biological warfare to fight the liberation war. Could the Wikileaks cables shed more light on this?
