A video of Zambians chanting that Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe must go, which was posted on Youtube two days ago, has gone viral. It has already been viewed 62 000 times. Mugabe went to Zambia on Friday for the inauguration of Zambian President Edgar Lungu but was met by demonstrators who chanted “Mugabe must go” outside the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lusaka. Mugabe is the current chairman of the Southern African Development Community. The Herald brushed off the demonstrations saying that Mugabe had received a hero’s welcome. It said there was a handful of demonstrators who were mainly United Party for National Development supporters, whose leader Hakainde Hichilema lost to the Patriotic Front’s Lungu. It said more than more than 40 000 Zambians gave Mugabe an uproarious welcome at the inauguration of Lungu. Though fast gaining viewers, the video is not the most popular on Mugabe.
