Mugabe calls for peaceful elections

President Robert Mugabe today called for peaceful elections at the burial of his deputy John Nkomo who died of cancer in South Africa last week. “Let’s carry this exhortation of peace, carry with us this message to our parties so that we can honour him by holding elections that are peaceful. We want peaceful elections and let us take advantage of the calm and peace, the oasis that we have now.”
