Goods from Zimbabwe to UK duty free!

Goods from Zimbabwe currently benefit from duty-free access to the UK because Zimbabwe is a member of the interim Eastern and Southern Africa Economic Partnership Agreement with the European Union.

The imports, however, must comply with all relevant licensing and declaration requirements.

This was said by Britain’s Minister of State, Department for International Trade, Greg Hands in response to a question from Labour MP, Madeleine Moon.

Greg Hands- The Minister of State, Department for International Trade- Imports from Zimbabwe must comply with all relevant licensing and declaration requirements. As a member of the interim Eastern and Southern Africa Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the EU, the import of goods from Zimbabwe currently benefit from duty-free access to the UK.
