Good news as 12 more Zimbabweans recover from coronavirus, five test positive

A whopping 12 people recovered from the coronavirus in Zimbabwe yesterday, 11 from Masvingo and one from Mashonaland East, raising the number of people that have recovered so far to 46.

Five, all returning residents from South Africa, however, tested positive, increasing the total to 287.

The number of active cases, however, dropped from 244 to 237.

A total of 53 668 people have been tested since the outbreak on 20 Mach.

Globally there were 7.2 million cases last night. More than 407 300 people had died and 3.5 million had recovered leaving 3.3 million active cases.
