Bulawayo man dies of coronavirus as Zimbabwe death toll rises to 7

A 49-year-old man from Bulawayo died of the coronavirus today while 10 people from the same city recovered from the deadly pandemic.

So far three people have died of the virus in Bulawayo while 20 have recovered. There are still 35 active cases.

Seven people have died from the virus countrywide and 152 have recovered.

Seven people also tested positive today raising the number of cases to 574 but the number of active cases dropped to 415.

Globally, there are now 10.3 million cases including just over 506 000 deaths.

Some 5.6 million people have recovered but there are still 4.2 million active cases.
