Three more Zimbabweans recover from coronavirus

Three more Zimbabweans have recovered from the coronavirus bringing the total to 12 but the country recorded one more case yesterday raising the total to 37.

The country, therefore, now has 21 active cases with the highest number being in Bulawayo where there are 11 active cases. Bulawayo had one death.

Harare, which had 14 cases, now only has five active cases. Seven people have recovered and two have died.

Mashonaland West has four active cases and Mashonaland East one.

So far 23 096 people have been tested.

There are no coronavirus cases in the other six provinces: Matebeleland South, Matebeleland North, Masvingo, Midlands, Manicaland and Mashonaland Central.

The only positive case in Matebeleland North recovered.

Zimbabwe is under a national lockdown which began on 30 March and is expected to end this Sunday unless it is extended.
