Four hundred and three Zimbabweans recovered from coronavirus today, 302 of them in Manicaland, resulting in the number of active cases dropping to 1 309.

Six people, however, died raising the number of deaths to 1 478.

There were 31 new cases bringing the total so far to 36 179 and that for recoveries to 33 392.

Zimbabwe relaxed its lockdown restrictions on Monday but deaths continue to be high though some say these are remnants from the second wav which hit the country at the beginning of January.

Today 2 893 people were vaccinated bringing the total to 27 970.
