Who was removed from the EU sanctions list

0

All journalists were removed from the European Union sanctions list last week but there were also some surprise removals. Zimbabwe African National Union- Patriotic Front spokesman Rugare Gumbo was, for example, removed while “self appointed Anglican bishop” Norbert Kunonga remained on the list.

All in all 51 people and 20 companies were removed from the list. All 20 companies belonged to John Arnold Bredenkamp.

Although Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa and Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi are still on the sanctions list, they will be allowed to travel to Europe as members of the Zimbabwean Ministerial Re-engagement Team so that the full team can travel to Brussels for high-level consultations.
