President Robert Mugabe has been at the helm of the country since February 1980. During the first decade he was revered and honoured as one of Africa’s foremost leaders. His star started fading during the second decade. In the third decade he became one of the most hated leaders in the world, sometimes only second to Saddam Hussein. But he has survived it all and is into his fourth decade as leader. There are 626 cables on him and here they are.

 This is our 17th month of continuously publishing Wikileaks cables. It is now sounding boring. It is tedious. But we are now coming to the end. We have been asked why are so interested in old news and why we are presenting old news and fresh news. Simple. History has a way of repeating itself.

We are now working on the last cables on the remaining cabinet ministers in the inclusive government so that we can have a complete cabinet Wikileaks before the country heads for elections.

It also dawned on us today that we completed the Wikileaks cables onMugabe on his 89th birthday.
