Zimbabwe has now tested nearly 15 000 people but the number of positive cases remains at 34, including four deaths and five recoveries, after the record 1 682 people it tested on Monday were all negative.
The Ministry of Health yesterday tested 1 492 bringing the total to 14 821. Results for yesterday’s tests will be released today.
The country is under a national lockdown which started on 30 May but was relaxed from 4 May to allow some commercial activities and people to move around provided they wear face masks.
The lockdown ends on 17 May but the Minister of Health can extend it at any time as the country is on coronavirus alert until 1 January 2021.
