Just added to our archives- Mugabe named in BCCI scandal

President Robert Mugabe has managed to maintain a fairly clean slate. There have been reports that he has amassed massive wealth and has secret bank accounts and mansions but no one has been able to substantiate that.  However, nearly 20 years ago, he was named as one of the politicians that had been paid for favours by the Bank of Credit and Commerce International before it went bankrupt. The bank had a branch in Zimbabwe which later transformed to what is today known as the Commercial bank of Zimbabwe, now one of the top five banks in the country.
