Zimbabweans have for a change said life is getting better according to a poll by the international polling agency, Gallup, which was released today. And they are a rare exception in sub-Saharan Africa as more people said they were finding it difficult to get by on their present incomes. Only one percent was living comfortably in 2007 but this rose to 15 percent last year. Those who were getting by shot up from 9 percent in 2007 to 41 percent last year while those who were finding it difficult dropped from 37percent to 28 percent. Those who were finding it very difficult dropped by a third from 49 percent to 16 percent.
