Join The Insider circle

1

After running The Insider single-handedly for the past 29 years, though with some help and advice from a couple of friends, I believe that it is high time that I opened up this project to achieve better, improved and more meaningful content as well as a wider reach.

The aim, as the motto of The Insider says is to provide readers news that they can use. I am therefore planning to form an Insider Circle. This will be a small group of people who will steer this product to greater heights and more relevance to the people of this country so that we have a better informed citizen capable of making meaningful decisions based on factual information.

The circle will be a group of people that will ensure that The Insider lives beyond my time and should be in a position to provide expert information on complex subjects to make make more digestible to the average reader.

Members of the circle are therefore not expected to be journalists but experts in various fields.

Those willing to join this circle should write to: [email protected] and state their age, area of specialization, and how they believe they can help The Insider meet its two objectives: improved and more relevant content and a wider reach.

The Insider is a political and business bulletin about Zimbabwe, edited by Charles Rukuni. Founded in 1990, it was a printed 12-page subscription only newsletter until 2003 when Zimbabwe's hyper-inflation made it impossible to continue printing.
