Is Chamisa now banking on divine intervention?

Movement for Democratic Change leader Nelson Chamisa who is also a pastor seems to be increasingly speaking in parables.

He told the Standard yesterday the end of Zimbabwe’s troubles is now very near but many cannot see it.

“Zimbabwe is headed in the wrong direction. The country is on a wrong path, a path to nowhere,” he said.

“But I have good news and they will see it very soon. A national drumbeat has informed me that the end is nigh. Many cannot see the end that is so near, but it is coming.”

Three weeks ago, Chamisa tweeted:  “WE THE PEOPLE ..Beyond this doom, the rise of Zim shall be a surprise to all & the breaking news to the whole world. The changes will be dramatic & transformation supersonic. New minerals shall be discovered. Economists will not be able to explain the boom..”
