Chamisa asks people for solutions to country’s problems but shoots down every proposal

Movement for Democratic Change leader Nelson Chamisa today asked people for recommendations to arrest and solve the country’s problems but seemed to be shooting down every proposal.

The opposition leader who this week called for dialogue with President Emmerson Mnangagwa insisted that Mnangagwa did not win the elections yet the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front has told Chamisa to recognise Mnangagwa as the country’s President before any dialogue.

“As we prepare to roll out the 2019 roadmap, agenda, action plan and vision for Zimbabwe going forward, the situation in the country is further deteriorating and worsening. What would you recommend to be done to arrest and solve our common problems in Zimbabwe?#takecharge,” Chamisa tweeted.

Manyoni urged Chamisa to: “Get off twitter and occupy the streets until this failed gvt goes”.

Chamisa replied: “I’m actually on the street as I tweet this reply.”

Chibabest Mavisto told Chamisa: “Acknowledge that ED is President, this will create goodwill for negotiations which will move the country to a settlement. Those statements abt ‘Kudira jecha and maJiggies what what’ will not move the country forward.”

The opposition leader responded: “We must build our country together. Hakuna anovaka pasina jecha kuti zvisimbe!”

Fortune Khumalo added: “I want you to accept that ED is the President u will see 1love 4 the benefits of country and please learn to solve with African solutions” to which Chamisa replied: “I can’t pretend. I’m not fake. ED did not get the vote and support of Zimbabweans!”

I_am_Munyah suggested: “I recommend proper action not just marches, speeches and voicing. Ngatirove maminister nemagvt officials,” but Chamisa responded: “Violence is not good for any nation.”

RealRasta 🇿🇼 said: “Too much talking.. Everyone knows the problems we face. We need action beyond venting on social media. A nation wide stay away could be a good form of protest.”

Chamisa said: “Talking makes acting become our common way of talking!”

Murazvu  said: “Pama problems enyika with yo kind of politics I don’t blve e country needs Yu in solving them,” to which Chamisa replied: “Thank kind of politics.”

Madzie told Chamisa: “Accept defeat… zvapera (Thats being a leader). Most will respect you and Zim will move forward.”

Chamisa responded: “Which defeat? I will accept to be defeated by ZEC.”

Madzie went on: “ZEC declared @edmnangagwa the winner, you challenged it in the highest court and it still declared him the winner. The only thing You ought to do is accept what the ConCourt declared and everything will fall into its place. Never give a false hope hapana hapana, unozviziva wani.”

Chamisa did not responded but when Trinity said: “President the situation we are in is now getting out of hand. If you have any solution to this, it will be greatly appreciated. I suggest within your capacity if you can start something to rescue us from this mess, please do,” he responded: “We are the solution to our problems!”
