Cde Ndipewo playing havoc at ZBC

A senior employee of the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation going by the name of “Mr. Cde. Ndipewo” is playing havoc with female employees, including married women, so says Mutare Central Member of Parliament, Moses Mvenge.

In his contribution to the debate on the interim report of the ad hoc committee on the affairs of the ZBC, Mvenge says, Ndipewo, if he is still with the ZBC, has a system of asking all female members that before you get promoted, Ndipewo.

When “the President is travelling and he wants you to cover him and if you want to cover the President, Ndipewo. The list goes on and on.”

“We can laugh at these things but definitely this is a very serious issue. We understand that some ladies could not come forward because some of them are married women and for them to come forward and identify themselves, they would have embarrassed themselves and also get problems when they go home to their husbands.”

Mvenge said although it was embarrassing for female employees to identify Ndipewo the problem was that if they did not do so, he would continue asking Ndipewo knowing that nothing will happen to him.
