MDC to bring land issue to finality

A Movement for Democratic Change government will ensure that the land issue is brought to finality and will ensure that there is security of tenure, restoration of market for land and more importantly that every Zimbabwean despite race or political affiliation is entitled to own land.

Want to live up to 120! Come to Zimbabwe

Life expectancy in Zimbabwe is said to be under 40 years but a British Member of Parliament told the House of Commons last week that if one wanted to live longer one must come to live in Zimbabwe because there were some people in that country who were aged between 111 and 120 years. They were simply people that were long dead but refused to fall as they were still on the country’s voters’ roll.

Zimbabwe human rights lawyers will be out of work if solution is found – British MP

Human rights lawyers in Zimbabwe may silently be praying that the present crisis in the country does not end because they will be out of jobs. A British Member of Parliament who was in Zimbabwe in March told the House of Commons last week that when he asked some human rights lawyers during a dinner what they would do for a living if the situation in Zimbabwe cleared up, they did not have a response.
