Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga has been one of the most vocal women’s leaders in Zimbabwe. She started off as an activist before joining the Movement for Democratic Change. She was also vocal in Parliament rising to the powerful post of chair of the Public Accounts Committee. When the party split in 2005 she opted to join the Arthur Mutambara faction where she was elected deputy secretary-general.
