Tsvangirai suffers worst poll ratings

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s popularity has plummeted and ZANU-PF is enjoying resurgent support which is being bolstered by an electoral and military war chest extracted from newly exploited Marange diamond fields, the latest opinion poll showed today. The poll by the Mass Public Opinion Trust showed that 36 percent backed Tsvangirai down 21 percentage points from 57 percent from May 2009.  Support for ZANU-PF rose to 18 percent up from 10 percent in May 2009.
