Police rescue Biti

Police had to step in today to disperse over a 100 ZANU-PF supporters who had besieged Finance Minister Tendai Biti’s offices demanding that he signs the party’s anti-sanctions petition. The group calls itself the Anti Sanctions Trust and is led by Fanuel Mutasa. “We want him to sign the anti-sanctions because we noticed he has not appended his signature to the petition,” said Mutasa. “After him we will go to the higher offices .”
