Madhuku says let’s have elections

National Constitutional Assembly leader Lovemore Madhuku today said political parties in Zimbabwe should abide by the Constitutional Court ruling and hold the elections before 31 July. “The NCA welcomes the judgment as sound in law, good to the country and an exercise in constitutionalism. The NCA urges the President to follow both the letter and spirit of the judgment and ensure that elections are held on or before 31 July, 2013. While the letter of the judgment is ordering an election by 31 July, 2013, its spirit requires a free and fair election,” he said in a statement.
