Movement for Democratic Change chairman Lovemore Moyo was re-elected Speaker today beating Zimbabwe African National Union- Patriotic Front chairman Simon Khaya Moyo. Tensions were quite high with the MDC claiming that ZANU-PF had been buying off legislators. Moyo’s election in 2008 was nullified by the Supreme Court on 10 March.
