Movement for Democratic Change leader Morgan Tsvangirai is to lead a protest march against bad governance by President Robert Mugabe in Gweru tomorrow.
Party presidential spokesman Luke Tamborinyoka said Tsvangirai, who was diagnosed with colon cancer two months ago, will also give the keynote address.
The MDC-T, which boycotted all elections until there is acceptable electoral reform, has been organising a series of protest marches to force Mugabe to step down.
Mugabe’s current term ends in 2018 but his party says he will contest the next elections.
If he does this will be his last elections as under the new constitution, a president can only serve two terms.
Mugabe, who at 92 is currently the world’s oldest leader, will be 94 at the time of the next elections and will be one year shy of reaching 100 should he contest the elections and complete his term.
