Zimbabwe Diamonds- River Ranch went all out to kill The Insider story

River Ranch intensified its efforts to silence The Insider after it published a series of stories on its operations and raised questions as to why it was assisted by African Management Services Company and why it was using United Nations registered vehicles.  But instead of using the open courts the company decided to use the Voluntary Media Council of Zimbabwe where its legal adviser George Smith sat on the complaints committee.
