Reports which remained unverified today said Zimbabwe could be sending troops to Libya to crack down on protesters there. Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi is under siege from protesters who want him to step down. It is not clear whether Zimbabwe has the capacity because it has its own protests to quell at home.
