Zimbabwe coronavirus recovery trend continues

Zimbabwe had more coronavirus recoveries today for the second day running with 24 new cases against 93 recoveries which saw the number of active cases decline from 1 665 to  1 596.

There were no deaths.

The number of cases rose to 7 453 and that of recoveries to 5 635. Deaths remained at 222.

Globally there are now 28.2 million cases.

The number of deaths has just surpassed 911 100.

Some 20.2 million people have recovered but there are still 7.1 million active cases.
