  1. Kiribati

The country’s low-lying islands are at risk of being inundated by rising seas, which could lead to the displacement of its population and the loss of critical infrastructure. Kiribati has been at the forefront of efforts to address climate change and advocate for the rights of small island developing states.

Kiribati’s imports are more than double the level of its exports, which is not a sustainable for a country if it wants to develop in the long term.

Malawi has one of the highest CAGRs among the poorest countries in the world, which it needs to maintain to sustain its high population growth.
