Writer chirikure, Victoria Chitepo and her daughter Thokozile
Victoria Chitepo, a former government minister and wife of the late Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front liberation hero Herbert Chitepo, died this morning at the age of 89.
Her death was announced by President Robert Mugabe at the party central committee meeting which she was supposed to attend.
She was found dead by her daughter Thokozile who had gone to pick her up to attend the central committee meeting.
