Zimbabweans in South Africa have been given another month to breathe. The Ministers of Home Affairs for both Zimbabwe and South Africa today agreed to extend the deadline by which Zimbabweans in South Africa without passport should get the documents to July 31. South Africa had previously said it would start deporting Zimbabweans without proper documentation by 1 August. This means the deportations might only start on 1 September.
