The Zimbabwe Football Association chief executive Henrietta Rushwaya was today fired after being found guilty of match fixing. Rushwaya is reported to have organised matches for the national team against Thailand, Syria and a Malaysian club without the permission of the ZIFA board or the country’s sports commission. The matches are believed to have benefitted Asian gambling syndicates.
