State Enterprises Minister Gorden Moyo today said the government plans to come up with clear plans to turn around at least 10 parastatals by the end of the year. The targeted parastatals are: the Grain Marketing Board, National Railways of Zimbabwe, TelOne, NetOne, AgriBank, Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Company, the National Oil Company of Zimbabwe, Zesa, Air Zimbabwe and the Cold Storage Company. “Over the years, our parastatals have been a drain on the fiscus and this ministry is upbeat and really, really ready for the challenge so that we are sure that we stop the drain, rehabilitate some of them, and offload some of them,” Moyo said.
