Zimbabwe’s annual inflation for the month of June gained 0.33 percentage points to – 1.37 percent, the statistics agency reported yesterday.
Month on month the inflation rate increased 0.43 percentage points to 0.19 percent, the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency said.
The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe says the monthly family basket stood at $567.38 in June and increase of almost $10 from January when it stood at $557.58.
The basket was, however, 10 cents cheaper than in May.
