He said this following the death of Glen View North legislator Kennedy Dinar this week but figures provided to The Insider by Parliament show that more Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front legislators have died this year than those from the MDC.
“This 2020 has been just been too cruel to us. We are heartbroken. Go well Real change soldier!!” Chamisa tweeted.
Instead of sympathising with Chamisa some took advantage to blast him.
“Have you noticed you’re burying your senior executive members every week. If not a Member of parliament it is a Councilor if not so it is an executive member or both . Zvibvunze sahwira,” tweeted Mteliso Farai.
Admire Taguma Musingarabwi said: “Sanctions have affected these hospitals. Hope one day you will own up to your treachery.” He was probably speaking in reference that Dinar died at Chitungwiza hospital.
Prayerzonn, who was sympathetic with Chamisa, tweeted: “Do something Mr President trikupera tichingoti victory is near politics is a game of thrones baba panotoda hondo apa vanhu ava havatye nhunzi vanovhunduka action.”
According to figures provided by Parliament, six legislators have died so far this year.
These are:
Chamisa has, however, lost more legislators after they were recalled by the Thokozani Khupe led MDC- Tsvangirai.
Khupe has recalled 30 legislators, 22 from the National Assembly and eight from the Senate.
Chamisa’s leadership of the MDC was ruled illegal by the Supreme Court in March and his party has been ruled to have no legal standing.
