One more dies of coronavirus in Bulawayo, city death toll now 63

One more person from Bulawayo died of coronavirus today raising the death toll for the city to 63 and that for the nation to 251.

Eight people have died of the pandemic this month, six of them from Bulawayo.

There were 27 news cases and only 12 recoveries resulting in the number of active cases going up to 252.

Bulawayo has 88 active cases, followed by Harare with 63 and the Midlands with 42.

The number of cases across the globe surpassed 50 million today with the United States accounting for 10.2 million.

Nearly 1.25 million people have died, 35.5 million have recovered and there are 13.4 million active cases.
