Zimbabwe surpasses 400 000 people vaccinated first dose

Zimbabwe today surpassed 400 000 the number of people that have so far received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

A total of 12 750 were vaccinated today bringing to 400 771 who have so far received the first jab.

The number of people that has been fully vaccinated has risen to 76 826 after 6 834 got their second jab today.

Two people died and there were 44 new cases and 77 recoveries.

There are now 1 074 active cases with 383 in Harare, 267 in Matebeleland South and 138 in Bulawayo. Manicaland dropped to 134 after 49 people from the province recovered.
