Members of Zimbabwe’s security services and the health sector will get their bonuses on Friday next week.
According to a circular issued yesterday, members of the army, the police, airforce and prison services as well as the health sector will be paid their 13th cheque on 15 November.
The bonus will be computed based on the basic salary plus housing and transport allowances.
The education sector will get their bonus on 17 December while the remainder of the civil servants will be paid their 13 cheque on 20 December.
Doctors have been on strike since the beginning of September and 77 have been dismissed following a disciplinary hearing.
Civil servants demonstrated against poor salaries yesterday and vowed to press on to have their salaries adjusted to match the October 2018 salaries converted at the interbank rate.
