Zimbabwe records a whopping 62 new coronavirus cases raising tally to 463

Zimbabwe today recorded a whopping 62 new coronavirus cases raising the total so far to 463.

Forty-two were returning residents with 24 from South Africa, five from the United States, four from Zambia, four from Lesotho, three from Botswana and two from Namibia.

The other 20 were local.

Zimbabwe has tested 61 413 people so far and has 396 active cases.

Globally there are now 8.5 million cases. These include 453 500 deaths, 4.5 million who have recovered, and 3.6 million active cases.

The United now has more than 120 000 deaths and more than 1.2 million active cases.
