Zimbabwe records 13 more coronavirus cases, total now 525

Zimbabwe today recorded 13 new coronavirus cases -10 returning residents from South Africa and three local. It now has 525 cases.

The Ministry of Health said it was still investigating the source for the three local cases.

So far, Zimbabwe has tested 63 782 people and has 455 active cases after 64 people recovered and six died.

Globally, there are now 9.3 million cases. Some five million people have so far recovered, 477 100 have died and there are still 3.8 million active cases.

Brazil and the United States alone account for 37 percent of the deaths and 46 percent of the active cases.
