Zimbabwe presidential election results to be released on 4 August

Results of the presidential elections to be held on Monday will only be released on Saturday according to a timetable released by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission over a month ago.

Although the elections are being held on 30 July, the results will only be released on 4 August.

Movement for Democratic Change Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa and youth leader Happymore Chidziva have given the impression that the results will be known by the next day and there would be chaos if Chamisa does not win.
