Zimbabwe new coronavirus cases drop to 16

Zimbabwe today recorded 16 new coronavirus cases and 27 recoveries resulting in active cases dropping to 1263.

There was one death.

Cases have risen to 37 875, deaths to 1 554 and recoveries to 35 058.

Most of the active cases are now in Matebeleland South which has 510. Harare is second with 379, followed by Manicaland with 173 and Bulawayo 118.

The number of people that were vaccinated for the first time rose to 7 661 today with the total now at 288 229 while 355 got the second and final dose to pushing the figure to 36 778.
