Zimbabwe has no new positive coronavirus case for the fourth day running

Zimbabwe has recorded no new positive coronavirus case for the fourth day running, after all cases tested on Sunday were negative.

A record 1 682 people were tested yesterday increasing the total to 13 329 but the results will be out today.

According to the Ministry of Health, 19 of the 34 positive cases are males with the most affected group being between 15 and 29 years.

The recovery rate remains at five though the country had nine positive cases, including one death, by 4 April.

The world now has 3.65 positive cases and 252 425 deaths. Only 1.2 million have recovered.

The United States has the highest number of coronavirus cases at 1.2 million and so far69 921 have died.
